The PWEA has significant concerns with PA House Bill 1341.The PA DEP currently has an effective site inspection and sampling program for biosolids land application. Wastewater treatment plants and farms receiving biosolids are routinely tested and to date, the results have not revealed violations of the biosolids quality standards.
